Im November letzten Jahres lieferten sie dem KlezMORE-Festival mit einem Klezmer-Programm einen vom Publikum heftig bejubelten Höhepunkt, heute spielen DOBREK BISTRO ihr traditionelles Geburstagskonzert im Rahmen des 13. Akkordeonfestivals. Vor 12 Jahre hat sich der musikalische Glücksfall ereignet, dass Krzysztof Dobrek, Aliosha Biz & Co beschlossen ihr eigenes klingendes "Bistro" zu eröffnen, in dem sie eine von großem Spielwitz, beeindruckenden instrumentalen Fähigkeiten und kompositorischem Feingefühl geprägte Weltmusik-Mischung kredenzen. Diese schmeckt köstlich nach Bossa Nova, Gypsy Swing, Jazz, Salsa, Tango, slawischer Volkmusik und nach noch viel mehr – immer ein Fest!

Dobrek Bistro was founded 12 years ago and have long since established themselves as one of Vienna´s most popular worldmusic ambassadors. Their annual anniversary concert is one of the highlights of every Akkordeonfestival with Dobrek Bistro and their audience passionately celebrating their muscially breath-taking blend of musical styles from around the globe. The four musicians unique and creatively take on gypsy swing, jazz, bossa nova or tango and let your ears travel through the world.
